Audit Support

When preparing for an audit by health authorities (FDA, EMA, ARS) as part of a clinical trial or other project, upstream translation work is generally necessary. We will provide you with the right tools and translator team to translate your documents within your tight deadlines, and help you to get ready.

An on-site interpreting service is also offered to help you to have smooth exchanges with the auditors.

    Our quotation will depend on the duration and location of the audit (potential travel, food and accommodation expenses).

    As the company founder, Sophie Pégorier has a solid scientific background, giving her an excellent understanding of the scientific, medical and pharmaceutical projects to be managed:

    • PhD in Physiology and Pathophysiology obtained in January 2007 (Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris, France)
    • Clinical Research Associate diploma obtained in 2012 (Mediaxe Formation, Malakof, France)

    She has worked for prestigious institutions such as Imperial College London and Georges Pompidou Research Center (PARCC, INSERM) as a researcher, and for Orphanet (Paris, France) as a medical writer on rare diseases. She has been offering translation services since 2010.

    Tools Used

    We use the latest version of SDL Trados Studio software to create and manage translation memories per specialty and customer. The size of the translation memory increases over time and gradually becomes an invaluable tool in terms of terminology consistency. This software is ideally suited to large, recurring texts.

      • On average, a specialized translator translates between 3,000 and 3,500 words per day, depending on the technical nature of the document. For proofreading, deadlines vary according to the quality of the English or French and the fluidity of the documents.

      • When the volume is too large to meet your deadlines, we may have to divide the files between ≥2 translators in order to deliver high-quality translations within your deadlines. In this case, we make sure that the terminology used is consistent between translators.

      • No, we don't. We believe that high-quality translations require 100% human intervention to avoid errors, misinterpretations and changes to the source text.

      • Whenever possible, send us your documents in an accessible format (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). For files containing scanned documents (PDF in particular), the working time may be extended.

      • Figures and images containing non-accessible text will be translated in the form of an EN / FR table, which will be added below the figures. If you have a directly editable version, please send it to us.

      • No. We only translate into French and English. We do not accept any non-health or research-related documents.
